2015:
In 2011 Andreas Hedberg got the idea to create a musical suite of twelve music pieces linked together, for piano and string quartet. The album consists of music he has composed earlier in his life, and also newly written music. The album Pieces was released 20 February, 2015

Pieces is a amazing collaboration with the pianist Ludvig Lundgren who also are involved in the piano arrangement. Ludvig is a jazz pianist, and who with his jazz influences enriched the piano arrangement. It was also in collaboration with the very talented string quartet, Corda (Linnea Andersson Meilink (violin I), Hedda Eriksson (violin II), Albin Uusijärvi (viola), Josef Alin) (cello) and Nils-Petter Ankarblom (string arrangement) who made the amazing string arrangement, and which also had great ideas to complete the musical language.

STORY OF PIECES
Since I was a child I always had a passion for music that tells me a story, with or without pictures. This album consist of music i have composed earlier in my life, and also new written music. In 2011 I got the idea to create an musical suite of 12 music pieces, that very much is dedicated every month of the year. This is Pieces.
