ABOUT ANDREAS HEDBERG
Andreas most recent work is the single “Stay” performed by the jazz singer Aurora Brännström. Stay was released the 15th of August, 2016. He is one of the founders of the pop/soulband “Jomapo” that started in august 2015. Also another recent work is titled “Pieces” a collaboration with pianist Ludvig Lundgren. It was also in collaboration with Corda String Quartet and Nils-Petter Ankarblom who made the amazing string arrangement. “Pieces” is an album that includes 12 tracks for piano and string quartet. The album was released February 20th, 2015. The music style is a kind of cinematic classical music. Several concerts have been set up.
Andreas Hedberg was born in 1972 and raised in Växjö, Sweden. He started taking piano lessons when he was seven years old and he created his first composition at an age of eight. Music has been his passion since childhood and he has created such in many different genres.
Andreas has a broad taste in music, and early on, he loved to listen to main theme songs from TV-series, movies, games and films. He started to write music at an early age by using synthesizers and computers. He also enjoys creating new experimental sounds.
In 1993, Andreas studied music theory and arrangement at the music school Kulturama in Stockholm, Sweden. He also studied the arranging and composition program at the School of Music in Piteå, Sweden in 1994. He thereafter moved to Stockholm and created music for theatrical performances.
Andreas started the music magazine “Studio” in 2003 together with Björn Olsberg along with Per Defalva, Martin Ekman, Mats Stålbröst, Magnus Müller and Peter Holmgren. 10 years later, Studio is considered the Nordic region’s largest musician website and music community.
Andreas has written, recorded, produced, arranged and mixed his own and others artists work in many different genres of music. He has a music studio in Stockholm.
